When I work in the garden and see the symbiotic relationship that the worms have with the soil – I have often wondered if worms and other parasites, have a symbiotic relationship with us. I mean, we all seem to have them or have had them at some time or other. People selling parasite cleanses do a good job of putting the fear into us and those protocols can sometimes be so extreme – damaging the host as well as the parasite.
I asked Damo about this at the Wellness Summit in 2019 and he agreed that parasites weren’t all that bad so I asked him to come on the show to explain the role of parasites, why they exist, why they can be GOOD and why not to go to hardcore and when to know if it’s dodgy or not.
